vGoal was to capture the essence of classic Reformation logos, and modernize it vUpdate it to fit the ARBC story, by:
    • Using symbols and colors to signify Reformed theology
    • Using elements to signify Armenian heritage
v To do this in a meaningful yet uncluttered way
Inner – Black – All men are dead in trespasses and sins (Eph. 2:1; Col. 2:13)
Heart – Red – God loved us and sent His Son for us (Eph. 2:4; 5:2; 1 John 4:10)
Cross – Black – The wrath of God against sin poured out on Christ (Isaiah 53:4, 5, 10)
Rays – White – Christ’s perfect righteousness imputed to us (Rom. 5:18-19; 2 Cor. 5:21)
Ring – White – Regeneration and salvation in Christ alone (Eph. 2:5-9; 2 Cor. 5:17)
Ring – Gold – Heavenly future, unending life with God (1 John 5:11; Rev. 21:3-4)
Armenian elements – Unbroken chain and khatch-kar cross design

The number of the white rays, being 5 in number, also remind us of:
The Reformed TULIP:
  • Total Depravity
  • Unconditional Election
  • Limited Atonement
  • Irresistible Grace
  • Perseverance of the Saints
The entire ring is encompassed by white petals, being 5 in number, also remind us of:
The Reformed SOLAS:
  • Sola Scriptura
  • Sola Fide
  • Sola Gratia
  • Solus Christus
  • Soli Deo Gloria
The petals are white because these truths give us true joy and peace (John 14:27); and also show that God’s plan of salvation is part of His eternal decree These capture the heart of the gospel and the heart of the Reformation
